Short and so very sweet. That’s how Gloria & Nelson planned their wedding day. From the very first time I met them, I discovered two things about them very quickly. They giggle and laugh with each other a lot and they don’t stay still in one place for very long. Our initial consultation lasted no more than ten minutes! Similarly, their wedding day was a short and intimate affair at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham. Following the ceremony there was a lucheon reception for no more than twenty of their closest friends and family. With an entire afternoon left to spare, they headed off to Niagara to spend the rest of their wedding day with family.
Thank you for having Andrea and I be a part of your wedding day!

It’s been a very busy summer wedding season so far, but occasionally I am photographing other commissioned work. Earlier this summer, one of my corporate clients invited me to photograph their work environment. As they are a pretty laid-back group, I decided to photograph their offices near the end of a busy workday. We didn’t worry about staging the scenes and making sure everything was cleaned up to make the space look pristine, as we thought that it wouldn’t convey the genuinely relaxed nature of their work environment. I loved the exposed brick, uncovered ceiling, and open concept offices in their downtown work space. It felt like a really cool space that people would enjoy spending time in, complete with foosball tables, sofas, and flat panel televisions!

Ever since Anita & Roy first met last year, it’s been a whirlwind love story for these two. Anita is from Toronto, Roy is from New York City, and even though they are quite often separated by hundreds of miles, they’ve been racking up the frequent flyer miles to be with each other. I’m really happy for them and so glad that I will be a part of their wedding day later this year.
