Sabina & Derek are one of those couples that I just immediately clicked with. From the moment we met, it was like catching up with old friends. Each time we met up, we chatted for hours about everything. One of their biggest passions is travel and it was truly enjoyable to share travel experiences with a like-minded couple. Even as I write this, they’re off on another adventure somewhere!
During one of our memorable chats, Derek described himself as the higher maintenance of the two of them. Sabina confirmed that Derek indeed took more time in the primping department! This is pretty surprising since most grooms I’ve met are rather precipitous when it comes to grooming. Nevertheless, all his hard work paid off and he looked quite dapper on his wedding day.
On the other hand, Sabina is refreshingly nonchalant about these things. With the help of her high school friend and well-known make-up artist, Satine Yang, she still looked absolutely beautiful. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Satine many times over the years and our brides always rave about her.
After the morning Chinese “door games” and tea ceremony, we photographed the rest of the day at the beautiful King Valley Golf Club.
Thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of your big day. It was a pleasure to be your photographer and to make this new friendship.

There were two things I remembered when I first met Gina & Matthew about their wedding. First, was Gina’s black eye, which she got from an unfortunate softball accident. Fortunately, she was as good as new by the time the wedding rolled around!
The second thing I remembered was that they wanted their wedding to be a small and intimate celebration with their closest friends. Oliver & Bonnacini’s Auberge du Pommier restaurant was the perfect setting for their ceremony and luncheon reception. I can really appreciate small weddings like this. I think for Gina & Matthew it was the perfect reflection of their personalities. It was just family, good friends, and great food.
Gina & Matthew are two of the sweetest people and I’m so glad to have been a part of their wedding day. Thanks guys.

We took advantage of the beautiful Autumn colours and light for Andrea & Danny’s Engagement Photos. Looking forward to their upcoming wedding!
