Katherine & Morgan very much wanted their wedding to be an intimate affair for their guests. Their ceremony and luncheon reception were held at the Berkeley Field House. The Berkeley Field House’s unique charm made it the perfect setting for their intimate wedding day.
What made their celebration that much more special for them was the involvement of family and friends. Katherine’s aunt, a justice of the peace, officiated the outdoor ceremony making it truly personal for them. A good family friend also lent us their nearby home to photograph Katherine & Morgan’s creative portraits. It’s not every day we get to photograph one of our couples in a backyard owned by professional landscape designers. It really is a gorgeous oasis tucked away in the middle of the city.
Katherine & Morgan also put a lot of effort into creating all the do-it-yourself decorations for their wedding celebration. They did such a good job of it that some of our photos from their wedding were featured in Toronto Life Magazine’s Wedding 2012 issue.

I’ve just added a slideshow of some of my very favourite engagement and wedding images that we’ve had a chance to photograph so far. Putting this together brought back a lot of memories for me as I reflect back at the nearly one hundred weddings I’ve been invited to be a part of. It’s been a real honour to photograph your moments and share your stories over the last five years and I’m definitely excited about the coming years. It was a real challenge for me to distill everything to just a handful of images that best represent our unique visual style, but I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as we enjoyed creating them.

He is a soft-spoken New Yorker from Queens. She is an even softer-spoken Torontonian from Scarborough. Two of the nicest people I’ve had the privilege of photographing and I couldn’t be happier that they found each other. It’s always challenging to be in a long distance relationship, but Anita & Roy certainly pulled it off. Despite the physical distances between them, their bond grew inseparable.
As they began their wedding planning from two separate cities, I was recommended to Anita by her cousin Joyce, whose wedding I also photographed. Needless to say, it was an incredible honour to be a part of two weddings in their family.
