We recently photographed Olive Media’s lively annual summer party. The theme for this year’s party was “Rock Star”. It definitely was a rockin’ evening for the Olive Media team and their clients. Leading up to this celebration, we even helped Olive photograph some fun rock band-style team portraits.
The big party was held at the swanky Maro Supper Club in full Olive Media flair. In keeping with their theme, we set up a photo booth of which Olive supplied makeup artists, an abundance of costumes and wigs and last but not least a sweet motorbike prop. My friend Joe Wong helped me photograph some of the details and candid images from the night. It was an awesome time.
Olive Media always knows how to throw great parties and this one was no exception. There was even a surprise birthday party for one guest.

Caroline & Jason managed to book us the week before their wedding. Luckily we were available and we had a lot of fun shooting their small and intimate wedding with all seven guests! By far the smallest wedding that we’ve ever photographed! The ceremony took place at Toronto City Hall, followed by some creative portraits with us around Nathan Philips Square, Osgoode Hall, and the Metropolitan Hotel. Following the photos they had a small luncheon reception at Lai Wah Heen in the Metropolitan Hotel.

For their engagement photos, Esther & Budiman loved the idea of photographing at Guildwood Park. The classical architecture set against the natural greenery was great to work with. Through the session, we got to know a little more about each other and we quickly learned that Budiman is quite the joker, not to mention seriously into the martial arts. His “hobbies” include Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. It’s hard to imagine that after seeing his soft side with Esther during their engagement session! We’re looking forward to their wedding later this month.
