Fanta & Andre’s story began on a flight back to Toronto from Barbados. They were both visiting family on the beautiful Caribbean island and coincidentally booked the same flight home. After boarding the flight, Andre noticed Fanta sitting directly behind him and tried every imaginative way to get her to notice him. She did notice his antics, and as they say, the rest is history…

Surprisingly, up until this year I had never visited Ryerson University despite living in Toronto all my life. After this year though, I not only can claim to have photographed a wedding ceremony at the school, but I have now done an engagement session there as well. Susan & Andrea met at the school and wanted me to incorporate it into their creative engagement images. We made best use of the beautiful Autumn afternoon to explore the grounds before heading over to the Distillery District for a few more photos and coffee. We’re looking forward to their wedding next year in June!

With the last of our 2009 weddings photographed now, we are focusing all our efforts to complete post-production work. There are still a ton of amazing weddings that we can’t wait to blog, so stay tuned!
Last week, we took a small break to New York City, one of my favourite places to visit. Even though we’ve been there numerous times before, there is never a shortage of things to see and do. It’s such an amazing city and the energy of the place is truly indescribable.
