There were two things I remembered when I first met Gina & Matthew about their wedding. First, was Gina’s black eye, which she got from an unfortunate softball accident. Fortunately, she was as good as new by the time the wedding rolled around!
The second thing I remembered was that they wanted their wedding to be a small and intimate celebration with their closest friends. Oliver & Bonnacini’s Auberge du Pommier restaurant was the perfect setting for their ceremony and luncheon reception. I can really appreciate small weddings like this. I think for Gina & Matthew it was the perfect reflection of their personalities. It was just family, good friends, and great food.
Gina & Matthew are two of the sweetest people and I’m so glad to have been a part of their wedding day. Thanks guys.

We took advantage of the beautiful Autumn colours and light for Andrea & Danny’s Engagement Photos. Looking forward to their upcoming wedding!

Wedding days are nerve-racking for most couples. That is expected. But if there’s one thing about Jennifer & Jason that I’ve discovered, it’s that they are both so calm about things.
Another thing I learned about Jason is that he loves video games. So I can’t say that I was surprised when Jason and the guys hit the video games shortly after getting dressed that morning. It was their own way to de-stress and bond before Jason’s big day. On the girls’ side, things were also moving along quickly during preparations. Perhaps it was just her composure or her training as a nurse, but Jennifer was easily one of the calmest, most relaxed brides I’ve photographed. Both of them just let us do what we do best.
The girls got ready at the venue, Chateau Le Jardin, and we hung around there for the rest of the day. Being February, it was a good idea for them to minimize any travel within the wedding day in case of inclement weather. That was fine for us, because Le Jardin set the scene for the day’s celebration. We took advantage of the warmth indoors to create great photos for Jennifer & Jason using what light we could find or create on a bitterly cold winter day.
Jennifer & Jason’s calm composure throughout the day allowed them to enjoy every moment that the day brought, and we were there to photograph each of these moments for them. Thank you guys for trusting us to photograph your day.
