Patty + Alex Wedding

I first met Patty and Alex while photographing a corporate Christmas party last year.  Shortly after the holidays, I learned that Alex had popped the question to Patty while on their vacation in Thailand.  Upon their return, I was excited to hear that they wanted me to shoot their wedding day which was to be August 8, 2008.  The number eight is considered lucky in Chinese superstition, so it goes without saying that 8-8-8 would be one of the most popular and busiest days for weddings this year.

Patty and Alex had a small ceremony at City Hall, followed by some creative portraits with us around Osgoode Hall and University Avenue during Friday afternoon rush hour!  Then it was off to the Old Mill for their beautifully intimate reception for sixty close friends and family.
